DO NOT overload your cart.
The lid must be closed.
DO NOT place liquids, including motor oil,
in the cart.
DO NOT push or pull the cart with the lid
open.
DO NOT block direct access to the cart.
DO NOT park vehicles in front of the cart.
DO NOT place bulky or heavy items - large
tree limbs, appliances, furniture, engine parts, concrete, concrete blocks,
rocks, soil, scrap wood, or construction materials into the cart.
DO NOT take the cart from your property if
you move. The carts are the property of the County of Maui.
DO drain and bag wet garbage
- food scraps.
DO cut or tear cardboard so it fits freely
in the cart.
DO avoid spillage. If the cart is overloaded,
and the lid is open, it will not be emptied.
DO clean your cart periodically.
