Kaunakakai Regional Park is a scenic outdoor site devoted to America’s favorite past-time. As “home base” for the state baseball champions, the crack of lumber or smack of leather is often heard as the ol’ beanbag bounces foul or clears the outfield fence on a warm island afternoon. The park is located near the center of Kaunakakai, right across the street from Mitchell Pauole Center and Cooke Memorial Pool, and enjoys full civic support from a number of State, County, and Molaka’i Parks and Recreation facilities located in the immediate area.
