Welcome to the County of Maui's E-traffic Alert System.

The Maui Police Department and the County of Maui have teamed up to provide real-time road closure advisories. Our purpose has been to provide the general public, media, our visitor industry - especially its security divisions - with the most up-to-the-minute data on road closures or hazards so that all are aware of potential delays, hazards or traffic problems that may delay or deter their transit plans.

We are making this information available by subscription - both by e-mail and text messaging - and we encourage anyone for whom this information is important to sign up for this new county service. Click on the E-Mail Subscription link. Select “Road Closure Notifications” and click on “Submit Query” on the bottom of the page.

Road closure notifications will allow you to better plan your travel on Maui in the event of a road closure or restriction. By making this information available, we hope to keep our residents and visitors apprised of road closures so they can plan their travel accordingly.
